As a founding member, singer, songwriter and guitarist of experimental punk band The Death Set, Johnny has has played over 500 live performances worldwide and released three albums on seminal U.K. label Ninja Tune. They have also released two EPs on Modular and Dim Mak Records

 

The Death Set's music festival appearances have included Fuji Rock in Japan, Reading & Leeds in the United Kingdom, Dour in Belgium, Oya in Norway, Osheaga in Canada, Pohoda in Slovakia, Pantiero, Cabaret Vert, Marsatac and Le Grand Souk in France, Nrmal in Mexico, Rock Herk in Belgium, Falls in Australia, Mighty Sounds in Czechia and multiple years showcasing at the South by Southwest and North by Northeast music conferences in Austin and Toronto respectively.

 

The Death Set's music is included in the feature films V/H/S and How it Ends, TV shows Broad City, Workaholics, Killjoys, 24/7, How To Make It In America, The Flash, Killjoys and Degrassi. Video games placements include NBA 2K12, Sunset Overdrive and Gran Turismo 6.

Johnny was also co-producer and co-videographer of Tiger Tooth, a NYC electronic music and multimedia project. Their 15 track album had music videos premiering at Beatport News, XLR8R, Nest HQ, This Song Slaps, Less Than 3, Stoney Roads and much more. They licensed two tracks to Toolroom Records for their "Ibiza" compilations which subsequently lived at number 1 on both the Beatport House and Techno charts for weeks.
